- Hi Autodesk Team, The Slicer for Fusion 360 app disappeared from the app store. I was able to download it just a few weeks ago and now it is gone. Is there a reason why you would want to get rid of such a useful plug in? It is such a pity since I was using it a lot in class and students love it.
- Download 3D Slicer. Slicer is built and tested on many hardware and software platforms. 3D Slicer runs on modern Windows, macOS, and a variety of Linux.
This app is currently unreachable or unpublished. You can: Enter keywords in the search box to search other apps. Sadly, Slicer for Fusion 360 was discontinued and all development ceased some years later. Despite Fusion 360's continuing updates breaking the interoperability with Slicer, it still functions just fine as a stand-alone app for Windows and Mac OS.
The way we design, produce, and consume products is changing. Autodesk has reimagined 3D CAD/CAM from the ground up with Autodesk® Fusion 360™ the first 3D CAD, CAM, and CAE tool of its kind. Fusion 360 enables people to work together in an integrated design, engineering, and manufacturing platform, virtually anywhere, on any device. It connects the entire product development process in a single cloud-based platform that works on both Mac and PC.
Enhancements to Autodesk Fusion 360 are automatically updated, so you are always up to date and ready to create something amazing. The future of design is in your hands with this incredible tool that is changing the way people design and create.

Description
Slicer for Fusion 360 is slicing software often used in conjunction with a laser cutter or CNC router instead of a 3d printer. This program allows you to slice a digital 3d model into layers of any thickness you choose, with the intent of then stacking those layers in order to create a large 3d model out of materials such as cardboard or plywood. It can also be used to create complicated 3d models which can be assembled like puzzles.
